Quand sont-elles apparues ?<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"27:1-27:246\">Cette finition Burst a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 gagner en popularit\u00e9 en <strong>1958 avec son introduction<\/strong>. La raison de son apparition \u00e9tait de contrecarrer la <strong>diminution significative des ventes des Goldtop de 1955 \u00e0 1957<\/strong>. En 1958, Gibson a introduit la <strong>Les Paul Cherry Sunburst<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"29:1-29:236\">Pour relancer le march\u00e9 des Les Paul, la solution \u00e9vidente semblait \u00eatre de revenir \u00e0 la tradition des finitions Sunburst pour lesquelles la compagnie de Kalamazoo \u00e9tait c\u00e9l\u00e8bre, en mettant en valeur les belles <strong>tables en \u00e9rable avec une finition transparente<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"31:1-31:483\">Le 21 f\u00e9vrier 1958, le registre de Gibson a enregistr\u00e9 une \u00ab\u00a0LP Cherry Red 8 1689\u00a0\u00bb, avec une table enti\u00e8rement rouge et une table en trois pi\u00e8ces. Le 25 f\u00e9vrier, il y a eu un enregistrement d&rsquo;une Les Paul Sunburst, num\u00e9ro 8 1641, avec un num\u00e9ro ant\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re. Cette Les Paul avait la finition classique <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Tobacco\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> mais avait \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement repeinte en Cherry. Cependant, au fil des ans, le rouge a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 s&rsquo;estomper, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant une table asym\u00e9trique avec la finition originale.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"33:1-33:176\">Enfin, le 28 mai, le registre de Gibson a montr\u00e9 les guitares avec les num\u00e9ros de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence 8 3097 et 8 3096, pr\u00e9sentant la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre <strong>finition Cherry Sunburst<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"35:1-35:236\">Toutes les nouvelles guitares Les Paul, souvent surnomm\u00e9es <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Burst\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> par les guitaristes, avaient une table unique faite de deux parties sym\u00e9triques, obtenues en coupant une planche d&rsquo;\u00e9rable en deux et en l&rsquo;ouvrant comme un livre (<strong>quartersawn<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"37:1-37:326\">La couleur officielle de la table \u00e9tait <strong>Cherry Sunburst<\/strong>, mais il pouvait y avoir de l\u00e9g\u00e8res variations dans les couleurs. La m\u00eame teinte de rouge n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas toujours utilis\u00e9e, et une teinte beaucoup plus fonc\u00e9e \u00e9tait appliqu\u00e9e lorsque les tables pr\u00e9sentaient des imperfections pour couvrir ces petits d\u00e9fauts, ce qui donnait une finition connue sous le nom de <strong>Darkburst<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"41:1-41:470\">La plupart des diff\u00e9rents <strong>tons Burst<\/strong> que nous admirons aujourd&rsquo;hui r\u00e9sultent de la <strong>d\u00e9coloration du rouge<\/strong> lorsqu&rsquo;il est expos\u00e9 aux rayons ultraviolets, un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne connu sous le nom de <strong>\u00ab\u00a0fading\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>. Cet effet est particuli\u00e8rement notable sur les mod\u00e8les de 1959 et les premiers Burst de 1960, ainsi que le jaunissement de la couche transparente. La cons\u00e9quence a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&rsquo;apparition de tous ces tons que nous connaissons maintenant sous divers noms : <strong>Tobacco, Tea, Honey ou Dirty Lemon, etc.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"43:1-43:339\">L&rsquo;effet \u00e9tait si prononc\u00e9 que Gibson a vendu des guitares Les Paul avec une recommandation aux revendeurs, leur rappelant de ne pas exposer les instruments \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re directe du soleil : \u00ab\u00a0Pour pr\u00e9server la d\u00e9licate coloration de ce bel instrument, \u00e9vitez de l&rsquo;exposer dans les vitrines o\u00f9 il est soumis \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re directe ou excessive du soleil.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"43:1-43:339\"><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"43:1-43:339\">Quelles sont les principales couleurs qui montrent le processus de d\u00e9gradation naturelle de ces couleurs Gibson ?<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"47:1-47:330\">Vous trouverez ci-dessous une br\u00e8ve description des tons g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par la d\u00e9gradation de la couleur originale. Ce bois peut s&rsquo;assombrir avec le temps, rendant la teinte toast\u00e9e de la guitare plus prononc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"83:1-83:215\">La <strong>base jaune du Burst de Gibson<\/strong> est formul\u00e9e avec de la <strong>nitrocellulose et une teinture jaune<\/strong>. Cette teinture joue un r\u00f4le crucial dans la finition, car elle a une bien plus grande r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la d\u00e9coloration que le rouge.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"85:1-85:248\">L&rsquo;application de la teinture rouge sur la base jaune cr\u00e9e un effet similaire \u00e0 un coucher de soleil.
